Team registration and payment processing for a national sports camp operator

Challenge

National Elite Sports Camps operates sports camps across the country and needed a way to manage team registrations and collect payments online without building a platform from scratch. Their existing registration process required manual coordination between signup and payment, which created administrative overhead and friction for families trying to get their kids registered for camp. The workflow also needed to handle team-level submissions rather than individual participant entries, which rules out most off-the-shelf registration tools. Rather than start from zero, they needed a system built on an existing foundation with the specific features their workflow required. We had already built the Oasys Sports client onboarding platform, and it provided the right starting point.

Solution

We extended the Oasys Sports platform as a white-labeled product configured for the NESC registration workflow. The front end was modernized from Bootstrap to Tailwind CSS and rebuilt on Livewire v4, giving the camp staff a fast, reactive experience without adding client-side complexity. A payment gateway integration was added so families could pay registration fees directly through the platform at the time of signup. Teams apply through a structured registration flow, staff review incoming applications through the admin, and payments clear without any off-platform coordination required. The white-label architecture means the platform carries the NESC brand while running on the same infrastructure as the original Oasys product.

Results

National Elite Sports Camps now handles team registration and payment collection through a single platform with no manual coordination between the two steps. Families complete the full registration process online, including payment, without needing to mail a check or wait for a separate invoice. Staff review applications and manage registrations through the admin without jumping between tools. The modernized front end runs faster than the legacy Bootstrap version and holds up well on mobile, where many families are registering. The project extended an existing platform investment into a new product without requiring a ground-up build.
