A learning management platform built for an AI accelerator

Challenge

Overclock Accelerator runs a structured startup program with course materials, homework assignments, and a cohort of founders working through the curriculum at the same time. Off-the-shelf LMS platforms cover the basics, but Overclock needed reporting depth to manage a cohort of founders effectively and AI-assisted homework collection that distinguishes their program from a standard course format. Generic LMS tools don’t have the flexibility to build custom reporting pipelines or integrate agents that interact meaningfully with submitted work. They also needed a platform that felt fast and professional for students who were already running companies and had limited patience for software that slowed them down. The brief called for a custom build on a foundation that could grow with the program.

Solution

We built Clockwork on Laravel 13 with Inertia and React on the front end. Students get a clean interface for working through course materials, submitting assignments, and tracking their progress through the curriculum. The admin reporting layer tracks completion rates, time-on-task, and activity patterns across the cohort so the program team can identify who needs support before anyone falls behind. AI agents handle homework collection and follow-up: students submit work through the system and the agents send targeted prompts based on what was submitted to push deeper thinking. The platform was built to handle the specific demands of an accelerator cohort rather than the general case of online course delivery.

Results

Overclock Accelerator runs their program on Clockwork and the platform handles both the student-facing curriculum and the admin-side reporting they need to manage the cohort. Instructors can see engagement data across all students without manually reviewing submissions or chasing follow-ups. The AI agents handle the homework loop, which keeps students active between sessions without adding work to the program team. The reporting gives Overclock visibility into how individual founders and the cohort as a whole are engaging with the material, something they didn’t have before. The platform does what a purpose-built LMS should do for an accelerator: make the program better for everyone in it.
