Our Commitment

We are committed to making this site accessible to everyone.

systemsevendesigns is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We work to continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to the design and development of this website.

This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility is not a feature — it is a baseline requirement. We build and maintain this site with that standard in mind.

What We Have Done

Keyboard Navigation

All functionality is accessible by keyboard. A skip navigation link is provided so keyboard users can jump directly to the main content without tabbing through repeated navigation.

Focus Indicators

Visible focus indicators are applied to all interactive elements so keyboard users can always see which element has focus.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML is used throughout, with ARIA labels and roles applied where additional context is needed. Form fields are explicitly associated with their labels. Error messages are announced to assistive technologies.

Reduced Motion

Background animations are disabled for users who have enabled the reduced-motion preference on their device, respecting vestibular and motion sensitivity needs.

Image Alt Text

Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text. Decorative images and icons are hidden from assistive technologies so they do not create noise for screen reader users.

Structured Content

Pages use landmark regions (header, main, nav, footer) and a logical heading hierarchy so screen reader users can navigate and understand content structure efficiently.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following gaps.

Some portfolio images use project titles as alternative text rather than descriptions of the image content. We are working to improve these descriptions over time.
