the following projects have been selected to showcase work that systemseven has had the privilege to work on. Like what you see? Let's work together
Belt Buckle
While systemseven didn’t have the privilege of designing or building this site originally, we do maintain the privilege of working on numerous updates to the custom Zen Cart installation powering the e-commerce aspect of this site. systemseven and the team at Belt Buckle continually strive to improve the customer experience, streamline the checkout process, and update performance in order to increase sales and conversions on some of the trendiest belt buckles you’ll find.
ListHub C# Feed Parser
systemseven recently helped a local Charlotte, NC web development firm create an automated real estate IDX parser using C#. The parser console application grabs MLS data from ListHub every morning to ensure up-to-date real estate information. This data is then formatted and distributed to the clients website for display and search purposes. The parser takes advantage of LINQ to query over the XML MLS data that ListHub provides.
Willow Branch Flowers
Willow Branch Flowers, formerly County Fair Floral Designs, contacted systemseven to help create a brochure-ware catalog site where they could educate their customers on floral offerings. systemseven created a PHP/MySQL administration tool powered by CodeIgniter to allow Willow Branch to update their product offerings from a web based or a mobile phone based interface.
Pine Lake Capital Campaign
Pine Lake contacted systemseven to help create a micro-site for their 2009 Capital Campaign. systemseven implemented a simple XHTML & CSS micro-site that was coded in such a way that when the school decides to take the design into the entire Pine Lake website, minimal changes will have to be made to the existing micro-site code base.
Esoma KungFu
Grandmaster Joe Martin asked systemseven to create a simple, easy to navigate site that would allow his students to access information needed for Kung Fu & Tai-Chi classes. systemseven also incorporated a small video section into the website to allow Grandmaster Martin to demonstrate various techniques in a more visual medium to his students. One of the key requirements for this site involved constructing it in such a way that Grandmaster Martin (a budding web developer) could update the site himself by editing the source XHTML & CSS
Peninsula Baptist
systemseven was contacted by systemseven to create an engaging, inviting, and family friendly layout for their corporate church website. XHTML & CSS were handcrafted to allow the in-house development team at Peninsula take over once the initial site creation was complete. systemseven assisted the Peninsula staff with transitioning from their legacy site platform to a new more robust platform both from a technology standpoint and a visual standpoint.
Lighthouse Pro
Having previously worked with Raymond Camden on a redesign of CFLib.org, systemseven was asked again to be a partner is a redesign of a very popular ColdFusion bug tracking application: Lighthouse Pro. As with CFLib.org, systemseven delivered handcrafted XHTML/CSS to Mr. Camden and assisted him through his integration cycle. systemseven also had to account for multiple application states from both a design and code standpoint. Working together with Mr. Camden, systemseven managed to produce an exceptional final product.
CfLib
systemseven partnered with ColdFusion guru Raymond Camden to create a new front end interface to his popular ColdFusion function sharing site. systemseven focused on writing clear, concise XHTML/CSS templates so that the hand over to Mr. Camden would be a smooth and efficient process, and also prompt assistance was given to Mr. Camden during his development cycle when questions / concerns arose. systemseven remained flexible and helped to deliver exactly what Mr. Camden had asked for.
Terri Bennett / Do Your Part
Terri Bennett, once an on-air weather personality, decided to strike out on her own and create a website that educated people not just on the weather, but on how to “Do Your Part” to live a green and healthy life. systemseven created XHTML & CSS templates as well as a custom Coldfusion / SQL Server administration area that manages a host of features on the site, from basic content to the video center that serves video from Amazon S3 to the website and video podcast.
